The continents of North, Central, and South America are home to numerous species of leopard frogs. Large spots and a range of green and brown hues characterize leopard frogs. Their two stripes run parallel from their eyes down their backs. Because of their extreme adaptability, leopard frogs can be found almost anywhere in freshwater, including ponds in crowded cities.
